Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

This Affiliate Program Agreement (the "Agreement") contains the complete terms and conditions that apply to an individual's or entity's participation in the Building Blueprint Affiliate Program (the "Program"). As used in this Agreement, "we," "us," or "our" refers to Building Blueprint (the "Company"), and "you" or "your" refers to the applicant.

By submitting your application and participating in our Program, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.

 

1. Enrollment and Approval

 

To enroll in the Program, you must submit a complete Affiliate Program application. We will evaluate your application and notify you of your acceptance or rejection. We may reject your application at our sole discretion if we determine that your website or promotional methods are unsuitable for our Program for any reason, including, but not limited to, content that is discriminatory, illegal, or otherwise objectionable.

 

2. Affiliate Responsibilities

 

As a member of our Program, you agree to:

  • Promote Building Blueprint in a professional and ethical manner.

  • Ensure all your marketing materials are up-to-date and accurately represent the course.

  • Be responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of your site and for all materials that appear on your site.

 

3. Commission and Payouts

 

  • Commission Rate: You will receive a commission of $100 per module (the "Commission") for each sale of the Building Blueprint course made to a customer who accesses our site through your unique affiliate link.

  • Cookie Duration: A tracking cookie will be set for 90 days. You will earn a commission on any purchase made by a customer using your link within this 90-day period. The last affiliate link clicked by the customer will receive credit for the sale.

  • Payment Schedule: Commissions are paid out via PayPal on or around the 15th of each month for sales generated in the previous calendar month.

  • Payout Threshold: A minimum balance of $100 USD is required before a payout will be issued. Balances below this threshold will roll over to the next month.

  • Refunds and Chargebacks: If a customer refunds a purchase for which you have already earned a commission, we will deduct the corresponding commission from your next monthly payout. This is known as a "clawback."

 

4. Prohibited Activities

 

The following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination from the Program and forfeiture of all outstanding commissions:

  • Self-Referrals: You may not use your own affiliate link to purchase the course for yourself or to receive a discount.

  • PPC Bidding: You are not permitted to bid on any online advertising system (such as Google AdWords) for keywords and phrases that are identical or confusingly similar to our trademarks, including "Building Blueprint," or any variations thereof.

  • Spam and Unsolicited Emails: You may not use unsolicited commercial email (spam) or any other form of mass electronic communication to promote Building Blueprint.

  • False Representation: You may not make any false, misleading, or exaggerated claims about Building Blueprint or misrepresent your relationship with us. You may not imply that you are an employee or official partner of the Company.

  • Inappropriate Content: You may not place affiliate links on any website that contains libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, or illegal content.

 

5. Disclosure Requirements

 

In all promotions, you must clearly and conspicuously disclose your affiliate relationship with us in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines. This includes using disclosures like #ad, #affiliate, or a statement such as, "As a Building Blueprint affiliate, I earn from qualifying purchases." This disclosure must appear near the affiliate link.

 

6. Relationship of Parties

 

You and the Company are independent contractors, and nothing in this Agreement will create any partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, sales representative, or employment relationship between the parties. You will have no authority to make or accept any offers or representations on our behalf.

 

7. Term and Termination

 

The term of this Agreement will begin upon our acceptance of your Program application and will end when terminated by either party. You may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without cause, by giving the other party written notice. We may terminate this Agreement immediately at any time, with or without cause, for any violation of this Agreement.

Upon termination, you must immediately cease using and remove all affiliate links and marketing materials. Any commissions earned before the termination date will be paid out in the next payment cycle, provided they are not subject to forfeiture due to a violation of these terms. 

 

8. Modification

 

We may modify any of the terms and conditions in this Agreement at any time and at our sole discretion. We will notify you by email, and a change notice will be posted on our site. If any modification is unacceptable to you, your only recourse is to terminate this Agreement. Your continued participation in the Program following our posting of a change notice or new Agreement will constitute binding acceptance of the change.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

 

We will not be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages (or any loss of revenue, profits, or data) arising in connection with this Agreement or the Program, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

 

10. Governing Law

 

This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the New York, United States, without reference to rules governing choice of laws.
